This is one of my favorite cozy mystery series but I don’t love seance stories, so not one of my favorites in the series.

Always love Gemma and her smart deductions, as well as her relationships with the people of West London, Massachusetts.

Can’t wait for her best friend Jayne’s wedding 🥰

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Heiress is about a rich family with complex problems. Ruby, the title character, has been deceased for about 10 years at the beginning of the story. With a series of flashbacks revealed through correspondence, you come to find out how twisted the story is.

She had been kidnapped as a small child and was married four times. She adopted a son after all of her marriages and made him her sole heir, which of course upset her family.

This is a great story with lots of twists and turns to keep you guessing.

I need to know if anyone else has watched this show. I watched the whole thing in one sitting and it’s 8 almost hour long episodes 😬😬😬 Crazy time travel detective show.

I didn’t realize it was a fictionalized account that follows one of the FSU sorority girls that saw Ted Bundy in the house after he assaulted several girls plus one of his Washington state victims. It felt very much like a real biography of the two women. It never once mentioned him by name but it’s obvious that’s who is meant. Really great writing.

July reads with ratings. I also listened to 4 short story collections and three full audiobooks about a series called Sherlock Holmes and Lucy James that I enjoyed a lot.

There’s several very new books on this list but my favorite of the month was Inkheart.
